Bruin Day

About the Opportunity

UCLA Bruin Days are an amazing opportunity to showcase UCLA academics, arts and culture, to admitted freshmen, transfer students and their guests to help them make their decision to come to UCLA. The schedule for Bruin Day for Freshman and Bruin Day for Transfers vary slightly, but typically include a student resource fair, sample academic lectures, financial aid consulting, specialized tours of the campus and residential facilities, department open houses and individual meetings with students to talk about life on campus.

Your Role

With approximately 15,000 guests attending Bruin Day for Freshmen and 5,000 guests attending Bruin Day for Transfers, volunteers make UCLA Bruin Days possible. As a volunteer your job is to create a welcoming atmosphere at UCLA and to help guests explore and enjoy their day. Most volunteers will be tasked with greeting and helping at various workshops and activities throughout the day. We encourage all volunteers to share stories about their experience at UCLA with Bruin Day guests.

Essential to these tasks is familiarity with the campus and the ability to walk around or stand for periods of time.
