Retreat from the bustle of the everyday world and immerse your family in the carefree, sun-soaked timelessness of Bruin Woods, the UCLA Alumni Association’s premier family resort at beautiful Lake Arrowhead.

During 10 one-week sessions throughout the summer, 75 families experience unparalleled ambience, soothing comfort, abundant opportunities for sports and active enjoyment, evening entertainment and social engagement.

One person in each party must be a UCLA alumnus, faculty or staff member and a current member of the UCLA Alumni Association.

Eligibility Requirements

• Bruin Woods is a benefit of membership in the UCLA Alumni Association. All alumni and friends are required to have one current member per cabin rental to use the service. Annual memberships are $55. Join or renew and discover the benefits of membership.
• Weeks 1-8 are limited to enrollment by UCLA degree holders only. UCLA alumni are welcome to attend any of the ten weeks.
• Weeks 9 and 10 are open to UC system degree-holders from any of the 10 campuses.
• Weeks 9 and 10 are open to non-UC system degree-holders and their families, providing a UCLA graduate also attending that week sponsors the registration.
• By applying to attend Bruin Woods, attendees agree to accept the eligibility conditions of the program.
