Eligibility: Incoming Freshman & Community College Transfer students (See specific requirements below)
*Additional need-based grants are available to students who demonstrate financial need as determined by the Alumni Scholarships Program and the Financial Aid Office. You may receive up to $5,000 for your first year in addition to your scholarship award.

Freshman Alumni Scholarships are awarded through an application screening and interview process by alumni volunteers. Scholarship awards are divided into equal annual installments to be paid over four years. Deadline: February 27, 2015
Regional Interviews: April 5-9th
National Finals Competition: Every April, top-scoring scholarship applicants participate in a competition at UCLA to potentially increase their base scholarship award up to $20,000 paid over four years. This competition is a 30-year tradition of the Alumni Scholarships Program. 2014 Competition: April 26 & 27
Community College Transfer Alumni Scholarships (CCTS) are for students transferring to UCLA from a Community College.
Scholarships are awarded through an application screening and interview process by alumni volunteers. The scholarship award is divided into equal annual installments to be paid over two years. Deadline: May 1, 2015Requirements
Bunche Alumni Scholarships recognize and support UCLA students from historically underrepresented backgrounds. This scholarship continues the legacy of Dr. Ralph J. Bunche `27, who was class valedictorian, a Nobel Peace Prize winner and a founder of the United Nations.
Is your parent or guardian a Bruin? The UCLA Alumni Legacy Scholarship is for academically talented undergraduate students who have a parent or guardian that is a UCLA degree holder. The applicant must be admitted to UCLA under the standard admissions process.
Want to join us in sunny California? Out-of-State Scholarships provide an outstanding opportunity for highly accomplished students from outside California to fund their UCLA education. The Out-of-State Alumni Scholarship is awarded through an application screening process with some regions requiring a local interview. The award is divided into equal annual installments to be paid over four years.
Out-of-State Scholarships are funded by UCLA alumni networks and generous philanthropic support of alumni throughout the country.
