Award: $1,000 - $3,000 paid winter and spring quarters

All applicants must be available for a 30-minute interview session on Sunday, Dec. 2.
Distinguished Senior Awards offer an opportunity for UCLA seniors to join the Alumni Scholars family. These awards recognize leadership, involvement and service to the UCLA community as well as academic excellence. Up to 20 students were selected to receive the 2013-14 Distinguished Senior Awards.
All seniors are welcome to apply. A volunteer alumni committee will screen applications from seniors with a minimum 3.0 GPA who have completed at least one academic year at UCLA. Following the screening, approximately 28 seniors will be selected for interviews.

Approximately 64% of UCLA undergrads receive financial aid of some type. According to a recent report in U.S. News & Word Report, among the nation's 50 top universities UCLA has the largest proportion of undergraduates receiving federal Pell Grants for students from low-income families.
