Eligibility: Current Alumni Scholars
Award: Up to $5,000 based on need
Deadline: Applications will be available in March of 2013 and must be received in June of 2013 for the 2013-14 academic year.
Current Alumni Scholars are encouraged to apply for additional financial assistance through grants made possible by Lew and Edie Wasserman. Because Alumni Scholars already demonstrated exceptional merit to earn their original awards, applicants are evaluated on a combination of academic merit and financial need.
Approximately 64% of UCLA undergrads receive financial aid of some type. According to a recent report in U.S. News & Word Report, among the nation's 50 top universities UCLA has the largest proportion of undergraduates receiving federal Pell Grants for students from low-income families.
