UCLA’s Transfer Student Alumni Network serves alumni who began their college career at a different institution but transferred to and obtained their degree from UCLA. With over 42,000 members, TSAN is a strong and influential network that provides social and professional engagement, community outreach and mentorship opportunities, networking and community service. The involvement and dedication of our Transfer alumni is part of the reason why UCLA has been named the No. 1 school for transfer students and a national leader in Transfer student success.

More community college students in California transfer to UCLA than any other University of California campus, and 93 percent of UCLA transfers graduate. Through mentoring and networking opportunities, we are committed to promoting the success of current Transfer students and upholding this standard of excellence. We also want to ensure that Transfer students will continue to thrive when they become alumni, and building a comprehensive network of social and professional support for Transfer alumni is central to our mission. We are committed to advocating for the needs of Transfer students and alumni, building a cohesive and impactful alumni network, and supporting the next generation of Transfer students through scholarships.

Scholarships help transfer students get the most out of their time at UCLA.”

The UCLA Transfer Alumni Network is complimentary (no dues ever) and all transfer UCLA students and alumni can be members. You are invited to attend Transfer events, which include social gatherings, student recruitment efforts, professional panels and volunteer events. There are many ways to get involved and feel free to bring your friends!
Subscribe to the Network: Subscribe to the network in order to receive event invitations and other communications from TSAN. To subscribe, follow the steps below:
- Step 1: Click on the “Subscribe” button on the TSAN website.
- Step 2: If you are not already registered, please use the “register” link to sign up using your name, email, phone number and alumni ID number (which can be obtained by calling our offices at 310-825-2586 or by emailing alumni@alumni.ucla.edu). After verification via email, please sign in using your newly registered credentials.
- Step 3: Once you are signed in, return to the TSAN website and click the “Subscribe” button again. You are now signed up to receive communications from the network.
Participate: Attend TSAN events and events and programs. Bookmark the calendar and check back often for updates.
Volunteer: Explore opportunities to volunteer with Transfer students and alumni in Los Angeles or anywhere in the world. Impact the community in the ways that are meaningful to you.
Leverage the Network: The Transfer Alumni network is the largest affinity network at UCLA, with over 42,000 members. Our Transfer alumni work in a wide variety of industries and are influential in Los Angeles and beyond. Take advantage of this extensive network of professionals by connecting with others on UCLA ONE.
