Jaime Nack’s journey from UCLA to The White House to becoming a global sustainability leader shows the significant impact of Bruins globally. As the President of Three Squares Inc. (TSI), she is dedicated to supporting and collaborating on sustainability initiatives. She works with Fortune 500 companies, government agencies, and international organizations to develop strategies to minimize environmental impacts across all seven continents and in fifteen languages. Her commitment and leadership position her as a pioneer in the industry, setting new benchmarks for sustainability in both corporate and community settings.

Jaime, a proud double Bruin (Bruin story since ’98, MPP ’02), began her impactful journey at UCLA by studying production and cultivating a strong support network. After graduating, one of her groundbreaking projects included serving as the Director of Sustainability for the 2008 Democratic National Convention—an event that marked the first integration of sustainability measures into a major political gathering. Recognized for her expertise, she was appointed to the National Women’s Business Council during the Obama administration, where she advocated for economic policies that support women entrepreneurs.

Her influence extends well beyond UCLA. The World Economic Forum named her a Young Global Leader, and the L.A. Area Chamber of Commerce honored her as Environmental Conservator of the Year. Despite her numerous accolades, Jaime remains deeply connected to the UCLA alumni community, serving as a former Alumni Association Board Member, mentoring students, and collaborating with the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs to inspire the next generation of sustainability leaders.
