Join local Bruins for an evening of authentic, unscripted conversations about career growth, transitions, and navigating today’s job market. Career Conversations brings together alumni from leading organizations for an intimate, community-driven exchange: not a webinar, but a real conversation among Bruins who’ve been where you are.
The evening opens with brief introductions from our alumni hosts, sharing a glimpse into their own career journeys, before moving into smaller, more personal conversations designed to demystify the paths to growth, career pivots, and thriving in a changing job market.
Whether you’re exploring a transition, building your network, or simply looking to reconnect with the Bruin community in New York, this is a space to build professional relationships.
This is the first in an ongoing series aimed at building a stronger, more connected Bruin community in the NYC area, one conversation at a time.

Jason Chiu, ’05
With a background in mechanical engineering and a former airline pilot, Jason transitioned into the tech industry. He now serves as a Senior Technical Program Manager at NVIDIA.
Gesthimani Roumpani, ’20
Gesthimani is a Senior Product Manager at Adobe, where she leads AI-powered video tools for Firefly. She previously worked in 3D design tools at Nike and workplace products at Google.
Gabi Lorenzi, ‘21
Gabi was a data scientist at T. Rowe Price before becoming a seed stage venture capitalist at Primary. She invests in startups building in software infrastructure, data, and data center technology.
Ann Nguyen, ‘18
Ann is a marketing strategist leading integrated product, brand, and social marketing initiatives across technology, media, and advertising platforms.
