Bay Area Bruins: Adopt-A-Family Holiday Gift Giving Program

Bay Area Bruins is partnering with The Bill Wilson Center to support their annual Adopt a Family Holiday Gift Giving Program. We want to bring Bruins together during the holidays to give back to our local community and then share a casual no-host lunch or dinner after your volunteer shift. This activity is for adults only.
The mission of The Bill Wilson Center is to improve the lives of youth, individuals, families and our local communities through housing, mental health care, supportive services and advocacy. They are a certified non-profit organization operating in Santa Clara County since 1973. Learn more:

We are looking for spirited volunteers on Sat., Dec. 12, 2026 at a location in Santa Clara, CA (exact address TBD). You will help with gift sorting (and possibly tricycle building and doll house building) at a collection and distribution site. Plan to wear close-toed shoes and comfortable clothes for sorting items into bins or piles. We have two work shifts to choose from: 9am-1pm and 1pm-5pm. After your work shift, we invite Bruins to share a meal together at a local eatery, as desired. We recommend wearing UCLA shirts, hats or sweatshirts so we can easily identify each other.
