Event Series: Mixin’ It Up

Behind the Broadcast: Bruin Impact at PBS SoCal

December 9 @ 6:00 pm PDT

We are excited to invite you to the next installment in our Alumni Diversity Programs and Initiatives Mixin’ It Up series – Behind the Broadcast: Bruin Impact at PBS SoCal. This special event will take you behind the scenes at PBS SoCal for an evening of connection, conversation and discovery.

From connecting communities through impactful storytelling to expanding access to early childhood education and trusted information, Bruins in senior leadership roles are making an impact across PBS SoCal. Featured panelists will discuss the evolving role and importance of public media and describe how they are responding to the challenges facing their work today. Learn more about the strategies they are employing to ensure that the public media’s role in serving communities persists during a time of political division and uncertainty.

Following the panel discussion, take part in an exclusive and interactive behind-the-scenes tour of the PBS SoCal studio. Connect with fellow Bruins as you discover the people, stories and spaces that bring public media to life.
