South Bay Network: Pier to Pier Walk

Grab a coffee, lace up your walking shoes, and join the UCLA South Bay Network for one of our most popular traditions, the Pier to Pier Walk!
We’ll stroll along the scenic Strand from the Hermosa Beach Pier to the Manhattan Beach Pier, then make our way back to Hermosa Beach. Along the way, connect with fellow Bruins, enjoy lively conversation, and soak in the iconic ocean views that make the South Bay so special.
All are welcome—bring friends, family, strollers, and pets! Please plan on gathering in front of the Kelly Lifeguard Memorial Statue by Hermosa Beach Pier at 9:15 so we can start walking close to 9:30am. After the walk, you’re welcome to join us for a casual brunch at a local spot.
