Alex Scutchfield '93

Alex L. Scutchfield '93 has joined the Lexington, Kentucky, office of Reminger Co., LPA. Scutchfield has practiced law in Lexington for the past 21 years. Prior to moving his practice to Reminger, he worked at two large regional firms and was also a founding member of his own firm.

Scutchfield has represented insurance, equine, real estate, banking and other business interests in state and federal courtrooms throughout Central and Eastern Kentucky. In addition to experience in a variety of jury trials, bench trials and arbitrations, he has successfully represented clients in hundreds of mediations.

After earning his bachelor's degree in sociology, Scutchfield attended the University of Kentucky’s College of Law, where he served as president of the Student Bar Association, as associate editor of the Kentucky Law Journal and as a member of the Trial Advocacy Board.
