Allison Fischer-Olson '10, M.A. '14
Allison Fischer-Olson '10, M.A. '14, took up her new position as the point person for UCLA’s Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA) repatriations in mid-February. From 2014–16, she served as the Fowler Museum’s assistant curator of archaeology and was staff researcher and project coordinator for the acclaimed UCLA StoryMapping resource, Mapping Indigenous Los Angeles.
Most recently, Fischer-Olson was an archivist, researcher and ultimately co-executive director at the Lane County History Museum in Eugene, Oregon. She received her B.A. in anthropology and M.A. in American Indian/Native American studies.
