Amy Schwartz, M.A. '07, Ed.D., was recently promoted to vice president of social responsibility and community partnerships for homebuilder Oakwood Homes. In this role, Schwartz will focus her efforts on initiating and facilitating public-private partnerships to expand attainable housing within the markets Oakwood Homes serves. Prior to this, Schwartz served as the executive director of the BuildStrong Education Foundation (formerly the Foundation for Educational Excellence) since 2008. In addition to her M.A. from UCLA in education, she received her bachelor’s degree from Wittenberg University and her doctorate in education from the University of Denver.
