Amy Steinfeld '00Amy Steinfeld '00 was named office managing partner of Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck's Santa Barbara office, effective Jan. 1.

“Amy embodies our firm’s values and has long been a key contributor to the success of our Santa Barbara office. She has strong relationships both internally throughout the firm as well as externally in the Santa Barbara market,” said Adam Agron, managing partner of the firm. “As a result, Amy has her finger on the pulse of the Santa Barbara business community and a deep understanding of the firm that will help advance our strategic growth,” Agron added.

Steinfeld joined the firm 13 years ago and was named a shareholder in 2013. Her practice focuses on the intersection of land use and water law and has more than a decade of experience in the permitting and development of controversial projects throughout California. She regularly advises water districts, regulated utilities, cities, developers, and agricultural interests, including nut and cannabis growers, in all aspects of water and land use law.

Steinfeld earned her B.A. degree in geography / environmental studies.
