Anne Luke ’00 announced the Sept. 1 release of her debut book, “Translating Your Teen: 10 Strategies for Understanding and Empowering Your Kid,” published by Johns Hopkins University Press.

As a teen and parent coach, speaker and expert in adolescent development, Luke brings deep insight drawn from spending 25,000 hours in meaningful conversations with high school students and their families. Her book offers a practical, research-supported framework to help parents decode adolescent behavior, navigate digital noise and foster confidence, purpose and direction.

Luke holds a bachelor’s degree in English from UCLA, where she was a Division I student-athlete on the women’s soccer team, and a master’s degree in counseling from Franciscan University of Steubenville. With a multi-decade background in the education and service industries — including cofounding an educational services company in 2003 — she now focuses on coaching families directly, speaking to schools nationwide and helping teenagers uncover the internal drive that fuels meaningful success.
