Bill Brown '85

Bill Brown '85 passed away on April 26 in Monterey, California. Brown came to UCLA as an 18-year-old from East Central Indiana, earning a B.A. in English, and spent the rest of his life living in California.

Brown had a successful career in the banking industry, rising to the position of vice president and senior trust officer at Union Bank in Monterey, California. He and his wife, Aurora, spent many evenings watching the sun set over the Pacific and travelled the world many times over.

A strong believer in the living life to the fullest, Brown would often say, "Live life — it's not a rehearsal."
