Bobby Sahachartsiri '07

Bobby Sahachartsiri '07 has joined the intellectual property transactions team at Lathrop Gage as a registered patent attorney, focusing his practice on patent prosecution in the biotechnology & life sciences industry.

He received his Juris Doctor from The George Washington University Law School in Washington, DC, in 2017, where he was an editorial staff member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association Quarterly Journal. Sahachartsiri received his B.S, summa cum laude, in molecular, cell & developmental biology from UCLA.

Prior to his legal career, Sahachartsiri was a scientist at UCLA, UCSF and the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, Maryland. Sahachartsiri’s scientific research experience spans a broad range of disciplines, including molecular biology, cell biology, immunology, biochemistry and synthetic biology.
