A new new women’s fiction novel by New York Times best-selling author has Carri Karuhn is set to be released Nov. 10. Set in L.A. and inspired by her own experience surviving the devastating 2007 Corral Canyon wildfire in California that took her home, “Not Everything Burns” balances heartbreak with humor as a determined journalist rebuilds from the ashes after losing everything.

Karuhn earned her M.F.A. in theater, film and television. She is a seasoned strategic communicator, marketer and storyteller with more than 15 years of experience helping organizations shape their voice and connect meaningfully with audiences. A longtime journalist, she has reported for the Chicago Tribune and the Associated Press and contributed as a freelance writer to the Los Angeles Times. She also holds a B.A. from Marquette University and an MBA from Pepperdine University.
