Poured n’ Powerful, a new business co-founded by Debrina Collins '23, announced its inaugural event, HerSpace, taking place Aug. 10.

After graduating, Collins and co-founder Michelle Davies found very few places where young women entrepreneurs like them could promote their work, get connected and build with others. Through their personal nonprofit and photography ventures, they’ve experienced firsthand the challenges of visibility and collaboration.

"Poured n’ Powerful cultivates spaces that spark connection, mentorship and collaborative growth across generations," the first-gen entrepreneurs wrote. "We aim to bridge gaps in access, visibility and opportunity by empowering ambitious individuals to build meaningful relationships, expand their networks and thrive professionally and personally.

"Our vision is to foster a thriving, supportive community where connection is currency and collaboration fuels success. We exist to uplift and unite driven entrepreneurs, creatives and professionals, particularly those from underrepresented backgrounds, through dynamic events that promote legacy-building, visibility, and long-term impact."
