Dennis Lyday '68, M.A. '72, M.A. '75 (UCLA Newsroom)Dennis Lyday '68, M.A. '72, M.A. '75, is a UCLA retiree who was a member of the Student Affairs organization for 30 years, including the last 15 years as Special Assistant to the Associate Vice Chancellor, Student & Campus Life. He also spent many an evening creating works of fiction with, he says, "the hope of selling a book or two and hitting the best seller list. Within the past year or so, I discovered the magical world of self-publishing and I now have two titles available on Amazon: 'Angel of Dark, Angel of Light' and 'Soulmate.'"

Both books are paranormal thrillers. And, he says, "There are more to come."

Lyday earned his bachelor's degree in political science, and master's degrees in history and education.
