Ellen Min '17Ellen Min ’17 is celebrating the 10th anniversary of Koreos, the first-ever K-pop dance team at UCLA, which she founded in 2014.

“Some of the best memories I had during my undergraduate time at UCLA were dancing, performing, filming 100+ dance covers/tutorials/variety games, and becoming lifelong friends with these teammates who share the same passion as me,” Min said. “I will never forget us filming in the parking lot till 6 a.m., trying to find practice space in Wooden/Hedrick, racing against the sunset to finish the last cut, and all the fun times/hard work behind the scenes. Doing all this while being full-time students and having other things going on in life was definitely challenging yet so rewarding.

“It’s been a while since I left the team but I’ve had the chance to watch Koreos perform at UCLA every year. It’s amazing to see how much the team has grown and thrived throughout these years. Koreos will always have a special place in my heart, and I’m glad it can continue to make an impact on others. Thanks to everyone who has been part of this journey with us!”

Min earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology. She is a senior strategic planning analyst at the UCLA Office of Academic Planning and Budget.
