Eric G. Juline '69, M.S. '70Eric G. Juline '69, M.S. '70, passed away after a short illness on May 30. In a brief message announcing Juline's death, his friend and San Diego Alumni Network colleague Mark Stull '70 wrote, "His contributions to UCLA are exemplary over many years, including president of the Alumni Association [2002–2004], a subsequent tour as a UC Regent, and twenty years as a board member of the San Diego Network. The Bruin Community will sorely miss him."

In 2018, Juline received the Roz Scherer Alumni Scholarships Volunteer Award for his "commitment and tireless volunteerism."

The UCLA Newsroom story noted that "Juline has earned the respect, gratitude and admiration of his peers for his steadfast service to raising long-term support for the amazing students we are meeting today. Regarding his own Juline Family Scholarship, he said, 'The greatest reward we receive is knowing that we are encouraging highly capable students to excel in their educational endeavors at UCLA.'”

In addition to his service as president and treasurer of the San Diego Alumni Network, Juline served as president of the Bay Area Bruins, and was an active member of the Fresno and Sacramento Bruins.

Juline majored in economics as an undergraduate and earned his master's degree in business administration. From 1971 through 2000, he worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers, retiring as an assurance and business advisory services Partner. From 2015 through 2019, he volunteered as an independent financial advisor to the Compliance and Audit Committee of the Board of Regents.

A partial list of survivors includes his wife, E, son Eric L. Juline '93 and daughter Erin Predmore '91, M.Ed. '92.
