Iris Derke '92

Iris Derke '92 (Life Member) has been appointed to the Board of Directors of Chorus America. Chorus America is the renowned advocacy, research, and leadership development organization that advances the choral field.

Derke, along with Jonathan Griffith, founded Distinguished Concerts International New York in 2007 with the mission to change lives through the power of performance. As of today, the company is one of the leading producers of dynamically charged musical excellence.

Derke and Griffith are currently in Constanta, Romania, where they are performing the works of Greek composer Dinos Constantinides. Performing with the Constanta Symphony Orchestra, Griffith will conduct the full concert while Derke will serve as the principal flute soloist on two flute concertos.
