Iris Derke '92

Iris Derke '92 (Life Member) performed in the world premiere of Dinos Constantinides' Concerto for Flute, Harp, and Orchestra at Lincoln Center on March 17, part of the Distinguished Concerts International New York (DCINY) Premiere Project. Derke was featured as the flute soloist for the piece, which was written by the composer in honor of DCINY's 10th Anniversary.

Derke co-founded (with Jonathan Griffith) DCINY in 2007 with the mission to change lives through the power of performance. As of today, the company is one of the leading producers of dynamically charged musical excellence. With its unique concert experiences in renowned venues, empowering educational programs, and its global community of artists and audiences, DCINY has produced over 17 world premieres and over 200 concerts at internationally renowned venues.
