Jasmin Darznik ’94 was recently interviewed on “Creative Breakthrough: Jumpstart Your Creative Journey,” a podcast hosted by Shereen Kassam, where she chatted about her creative journey, the importance of telling your story and more.
Darznik is the author of the New York Times bestseller “The Good Daughter: A Memoir of My Mother’s Hidden Life,” as well as the novel “Song of a Captive Bird,” a fictional account of Iran’s trailblazing woman poet, Forugh Farrokhzad, which was selected as a New York Times Book Review “Editors’ Choice” and appeared on several “Best Of” lists in 2018, including Booklist, Reader’s Digest and Newsweek. She earned her B.A. degree in English and German.
