Jesus Martinez, M.F.A '08

Jesus Martinez, M.F.A '08, who has worked at Pixar Studios since 2009, was layout and animation manager of the recently released "Coco." Martinez had just completed work as lighting manager for "The Good Dinosaur," when he asked to work on "Coco," which focuses on Mexican culture, and which had a character that, he says, looked him when he was a kid.

Prior to attending graduate school at UCLA, Martinez earned a B.A. degree in communication & Latin American studies from DePaul University.
