A new book by Kathleen Sheldon, M.A. '77, Ph.D. '88, "African Women: Early History to the 21st Century," has been published by Indiana University Press. Sheldon is a historian who has primarily written about African women and Mozambique. She previously authored "Pounders of Grain: A History of Women, Work, and Politics in Mozambique" and edited "Courtyards, Markets, City Streets: Urban Women in Africa."
