Kristina Gjerde '81

Kristina Gjerde '81 (Life Member) has been honored by Boat International for breaking new ground in ocean governance. Gjerde, who earned her J.D. from New York University, is an adjunct professor at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey, California, and senior high seas adviser to the International Union for the Conservation of Nature’s Global Marine and Polar Programme.
