Larissa Lam '97 won Best Documentary awards at the Oxford Film Festival and Asians on Film Festival for her short film, "Finding Cleveland." She served as the director and music composer for the film. "Finding Cleveland" is an emotional story about one Chinese family's journey to find their roots that leads them to Cleveland, Miss. The piece sheds light on the Chinese population during the time of segregation post-Civil War and the discrimination they faced in the Deep South.
