Leo M. Pomerantz, M.D. ’63Leo M. Pomerantz, M.D. '63, passed away on November 28 at the age of 91.

Dr. Pomerantz served as the president of the Phi Delta Epsilon fraternity while he was in medical school. After graduating, he completed his internship and residency at the Los Angeles County/USC Medical Center, where he served as head resident. He practiced dermatology in Southern California for over 30 years, was an associate clinical professor at the USC Medical School, and volunteered for the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services at the venereal disease clinic in East Los Angeles.

Dr. Pomerantz was beloved by his family and patients. He is survived by his four children, Jeffrey, Andrew '84, Nancy '87, M.P.H. '90, and Kathy '89; a sister, Betty Podber; and grandchildren Emily, Spencer, Gillian, Jordan and Sophie.
