The most recent novel by Lisa Von Biela '80, "Ravenna's Road," was released this month.

After a successful 25-year career in IT, Von Biela attended law school at the University of Minnesota, graduating magna cum laude in 2009. She embarked on a 14-year career as a legal aid attorney, focused on foreclosure prevention. After retiring in early 2024, she published "Don't Say I Didn't Warn You: Homeownership Decisions That Can Cost You Your Home," based on her extensive experience.
