Louise Richardson, M.A. '80
Louise Richardson, M.A. '80 will become the first female vice chancellor of England’s Oxford University. As vice chancellor and senior officer for Oxford, Richardson will provide strategic direction and leadership to the collegiate university, and will position and represent Oxford internationally, nationally and regionally. Previously, she held academic positions at Harvard and received several honors including the Joseph R. Levenson Memorial Teaching Prize, bestowed by Harvard’s undergraduates in recognition of exceptional teaching. Richardson will assume her new post in January.
