Lucas Richman '84

Grammy Award-winning composer and conductor Lucas Richman '84 and Albany Records are celebrating the release of a new CD, "IN TRUTH Lucas Richman," featuring three of Richman's compositions performed by the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, pianist Jeffrey Biegel, oboist Cynthia Koledo DeAlmeida and cellist Inbal Segev. Richman was on the podium for the recording of his Concerto for Piano and Orchestra: In Truth, Concerto for Oboe and Orchestra: The Clearing and Three Pieces for Cello and Orchestra. He has served as Music Director for the Bangor Symphony Orchestra since 2010 and recently completed a 12-year tenure as Music Director for the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra from 2003-2015.
