On Feb. 25, Doctor of Podiatric Medicine Michael Cornelison '92 will be installed as president of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.

Cornelison is a foot and ankle surgeon with Foot and Ankle Associates in Cupertino and Los Gatos, California. He is board-certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and is a Fellow Member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.

The American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons is a professional society of more than 7,800 foot and ankle surgeons. Founded in 1942, the College’s mission is to promote research and provide continuing education for the foot and ankle surgical specialty, and to educate the general public on foot health and conditions of the foot and ankle through its patient education website, FootHealthFacts.org.

Cornelison earned his bachelor's degree in physiological science.
