Mikey Tanha '02Mikey Tanha '02 is the CEO and co-founder of Noble 33, an environmentally friendly hospitality firm that is dedicated to driving the hospitality industry toward sustainability. Currently, the Noble 33 portfolio includes Toca Madera West Hollywood, Toca Madera Scottsdale, Madera London, Café Fig DTLA, La Casita DTLA, Sparrow DTLA, soon-to-be-open Toca Madera Las Vegas and soon-to-be Casa Madera West Hollywood. Noble 33’s restaurants offer a modern take on cuisine while keeping environmental best practices of sourcing, serving and storing food at the forefront of their minds.

Following graduation, Tanha delved into the financial sector with Merrill Lynch and Boulevard Family Wealth. After over a decade in finance, hospitality entrepreneur and friend Tosh Berman encouraged him to step outside of his comfort zone to pursue a career in the hospitality industry and partnered with Berman to build The Madera Group and Tocaya Organica.

Since doing so in early 2018, he has not looked back. Instead, Tanha has woken up every day with a renewed sense of purpose and excitement to work with others and see projects come to fruition. This year, Tanha and Berman launched Noble 33, their new hospitality venture focused on high-energy fine-dining with a roadmap to open additional flagship venues in West Hollywood, Las Vegas, London, New York and Miami.

Tanha is dedicated to making an impact on the world around him, and he is thankful that his career offers a unique intersection of entrepreneurship and environmentalism, rather than forcing him to choose between the two.

Tanha earned his bachelor’s degree in communications studies.
