Monica Sánchez, M.A. '04, Ph.D. '12

UCLA Alumni Association board member Monica Sánchez, M.A. '04, Ph.D. '12, is one of 13 women who will be honored on Monday, March 13, when the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors and the Commission for Women hold their 38th Annual Women of the Year Awards and Commemorative Celebration, “Celebrating Women Who Tell Our Stories.” The honorees are exceptional women who have diligently worked to better the lives of women in Los Angeles County.

Sanchez, a City of Pico Rivera councilmember, is the honoree of the Fourth District.
