Nancy Yaffe '87
Nancy Yaffe '87, a partner in the Los Angeles office of Fox Rothschild LLP, was named a “California Trailblazer” by The Recorder. This spotlight showcases innovators and thought leaders “who have made significant marks on the practice, policy and technological advancement” of their area of law.
A partner in the firm’s Labor and Employment Department, Yaffe focuses her practice on counseling and litigation with an emphasis on problem prevention and resolution. She defends businesses against claims and lawsuits involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation and wage-and-hour. According to The Recorder, Yaffe is “more than a problem solver for her clients, she’s a problem preventer.”
As co-chair of Fox’s Women’s Initiative, Yaffe helps promote the advancement of women attorneys within the firm and the legal community. She serves as Legal Liaison for the Los Angeles Hotels Human Resources Association and is a frequent speaker for industry groups on issues such as sexual harassment, disability accommodation and compliance. She earned her J.D. and Certificate in the Study of Women and Men in Society from the University of Southern California and her B.A., magna cum laude, from UCLA.
