Robinson+Cole lawyer Noel B. Vales '92 was installed as President of the Filipino American Lawyers Association of New York (FALA New York) at the organization’s sixth anniversary dinner at Aureole Restaurant in New York City on May 30, 2019. Vales was one of nine founding attorneys of FALA New York, which was established in 2013 through a shared interest in creating a formal professional affiliation group for Filipino Americans in the legal profession. Vales is a member of Robinson+Cole’s Real Estate + Development Group and serves on the firm’s Diversity + Inclusion Committee. He is also a regional governor for the National Filipino American Bar Association.

“The Filipino American Lawyers Association of New York was formed by lawyers concerned about advancing diversity and the interests of Filipino Americans,” Vales said. “Since our beginning in 2013, we have made great progress toward that goal, offering cultural events, continuing legal education presentations and roundtable discussions featuring prominent Filipino American speakers.”

Vales earned his undergraduate degree in political science.
