Rachel McGuire '04

Rachel A. McGuire '04 received her Accreditation in Public Relations. The accreditation program aims to improve the practice of public relations by assessing competence in 60 areas of knowledge, skill and ability associated with the profession. Rachel successfully completed the rigorous year-long process, which included a portfolio presentation in front of an APR panel of three peers and the computer-based exam.

Rachel works as the public information officer for Western Municipal Water District. She also has been a leader in state-wide government communications, serving on the California Association of Public Information Officials board since 2008.
