Richard Marston '74Richard A. Marston '74, University Distinguished Professor Emeritus at Kansas State University, is co-lead author on a new university textbook published by Cambridge University Press, "Essentials of Geomorphology." The 567-page book covers landforms made by tectonics, volcanoes, water, wind, ice and gravity on Earth as well as landforms of other planets. Other topics include biogeomorphology, Earth history and climate change throughout Earth’s history. Marston was also named an Honorary Fellow in 2026 by the International Association of Geomorphologists, the 27th (and fourth American) named since the IAG was founded in 1989.
