Robert Paul '14 has created a new kitchen tool that helps people measure calories, carbs and protein — right in the serving spoon — and is launching a kickstarter campaign to help finance the venture.

"I made it for my mom, who is diabetic, after she nearly died from blood sugar complications," said Paul, who majored in psychology as an undergraduate. "I’m doing everything I can to get this in the hands of the 39 million Americans living with diabetes — because 17,000 lives are lost to this disease every single day."
