Sanford Michelman '92

Sanford Michelman ‘92, co-founder and chairman of Michelman & Robinson LLP in Los Angeles, California was elected to the board of directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. Michelman was elected by member banks as one of 3 Class B directors, a designation given to directors who represent the public with due, but not exclusive, consideration to the interests of agriculture, commerce, industry, services, labor and consumers.

Michelman is the chairman of Michelman & Robinson, LLP. He focuses his practice primarily on the insurance, financial services, advertising and digital media industries. Michelman sits on the board of directors of other institutions including the Zimmer Children’s Museum. In addition, he has been honored by the California State Bar for his pro bono work at Bet Tzedek, and was recently appointed to the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation’s Western Division Board.
