Shelby M. (Lundahl) Barsam '14

Shelby M. Barsam '14 has joined Downey Brand, a prominent law firm with offices in Sacramento, San Francisco, Stockton and Reno, as a first-year associate. She was a summer associate at the firm in 2018 and recently passed the California Bar Exam.

The firm's press release notes that Barsam "brings a unique and creative problem-solving skillset to the firm’s employment law practice, which encompasses general employment litigation, class action defense, and complex business litigation. She also represents clients in an advisory capacity, counseling them on a multitude of employment- and business-related matters."

Barsam graduated from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law with great distinction in 2019. While in law school, she was the Legislation Primary Editor of University of the Pacific Law Review and completed an externship with the Honorable Troy L. Nunley of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California. Shelby received her bachelor of arts degree in political science.
