Shunna Jones-Moreno '21

Reach Up Reach Out, an international non-profit organization founded by Shunna Jones-Moreno '21 and her husband, Alex Jones-Moreno, is staging a marathon on May 20 at Lake Balboa Park in the San Fernando Valley, in order to raise money to build Ugandan homes for children with cancer.

Nearing the eighth anniversary of its founding, Reach Up Reach Out is doing work in seven different countries.

Jones-Moreno actually began her studies at UCLA in 1990 and returned to school after 30 years to finish her bachelor's degree in history in 2021.
