Vincent Pecoraro ’77
Alumnus Vincent Pecoraro ’77 has been awarded the prestigious American Chemistry Society Award for Distinguished Service in the Advancement of Inorganic Chemistry.
Professor Pecoraro is the John T. Groves Collegiate Professor of Chemistry at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He received his B.S. in biochemistry from UCLA and his Ph.D. in chemistry from the UC Berkeley.
The American Chemistry Society (ACS) award recognizes individuals who advanced inorganic chemistry by significant service in addition to performance of outstanding research. Pecoraro will be honored at the March 2016 annual ACS meeting in San Diego, Calif.
