Warren Farrell, M.A. '66The latest book by Warren Farrell, M.A. '66, "The Boy Crisis: Why Our Boys Are Struggling and What We Can Do About It," was published in 2018.

Farrell fondly recalls his time as a Bruin. "I treasure my experience at UCLA, where I did my M.A. in political science in 1965-66." He went on to complete his Ph.D. at New York University, during which time he became the only man ever elected three times to the board of the N.O.W. in New York, N.Y. He has written eight books on men and women, including "Why Men Are the Way They Are" and "The Myth of Male Power" and has been published in more than 50 countries and 19 languages. Farrell was chosen by the Financial Times as one of the world's top 100 thought leaders of the 20th Century. He has two daughters and lives with his wife, Liz Dowling, in Mill Valley.
