William Kegelmeyer '24William Kegelmeyer '24 is a member of the 2024-25 Capital Fellows Programs cohort as a Judicial Fellow.

"As a 2024-2025 Judicial Fellow, I am placed at the Butte County Superior Court," Kegelmeyer writes. "My placement has allowed me to explore a part of California I had never been to before starting the program. At the court, I am working in an analyst capacity. However, I have gotten the opportunity to work in operations as well because of my position as a Fellow. I have done research on court reporters, analyzed public outreach programs, and wrote policy memos. One of my favorite memories in the program so far was observing a Judges in the Classroom visit in a small town of under 250 residents in Butte County."

Kegelmeyer earned his bachelor's degree in political science.
