On July 1, 2020, Martin Jarmond became UCLA’s ninth athletic director, taking over the program Dan Guerrero led for 18 years. Jarmond was previously the athletic director of Boston College (2017-2020), the deputy director of athletics at Ohio State University (2009-2017) and associate athletic director at Michigan State University (2003-2009).
