Current Challenges and Successes — and the Path Forward

Martin Jarmond took the helm at UCLA Athletics amidst a sea change in college sports — from social justice issues to revenue deficits, the safety of student-athletes to the state of Pac-12 play. Tune in for a lively discussion that covers current challenges and successes — and the path forward. Hear answers to questions such as:

  • What is the greatest lesson learned from starting this role at such a challenging time?
  • How have season postponements affected our current student-athletes?
  • How is UCLA Athletics mitigating the loss in revenue from the pandemic?
  • What is your strategy for bringing UCLA back to championship contention in marquee sports like football and basketball?

The UCLA Alumni Town Hall is a gathering place where Bruin can have their voices heard and ask important questions in search of illuminating answers. Sign up now to join the conversation.
