As part of UCLA’s Common Book program, Bruins in Oregon will be gathering to discuss this year’s selection, “The Line Becomes a River,” a memoir exploring the complex realities of the U.S.-Mexico border from the author’s perspective as a former Border Patrol agent.
A complimentary copy of this special UCLA edition is available in limited supply.
We will be meeting at Public House in Springfield, in the upstairs Loft above the Main Hall. Guests are responsible for covering the cost any food or beverages ordered, but please check in with your UCLA host before placing your order.
RSVP with Michelle Taube ’83 at email@example.com to make arrangements to pick up the book and join us on May 19.
